This DNA test kit is able to trace back 3 generations. Please click on the attached photo for a visual reference of test examples. To locate all current breeds that may be identified, please visit the manufacturer site at https://embarkvet.com/resources/dog-breeds/

Is this a one time fee or do you have to send payment also when you send the test in?

Once you purchase the kit, simply swab the inside of your dog's mouth, activate your kit, and send the sample in a prepaid envelope to the company's lab.
