Makondo Pets is a family-owned company based just outside Washington, DC in northern Virginia that was founded by veterinarians with a profound love and respect for animals. Their mission is to help improve the quality of life of companion animals as well as those in need, and they have been developing successful products for cats and dogs for decades. More than 60 years ago, the grandfather of the family, who served as a veterinary pharmacologist, began a legacy of love and respect for animals that still lives on today. His son, a veterinary doctor, founded a pharmaceutical veterinary laboratory with the help of his own family, and together they have developed more than 55 products to improve the health and well-being of animals. The grandchildren now focus their current efforts on continuing the family legacy by providing natural pet supplies to help improve the quality of life of companion animals.
