About Us

Cat Team 7 is a 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue dedicated to cat welfare on Department of Defense (DoD) installations. Our mission is to ensure that homeless cats living on DoD installations find appropriate medical care and forever homes where they are safe, loved, and cared for. We are a foster-based rescue for both feral and friendly cats and kittens. Cat Team 7 is currently focused on the feral-born and stray outdoor cat population on Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, VA. The cats that are accepted into the rescue are primarily from volunteer rescue efforts on Naval Station Norfolk or the surrounding military installations, as permitted by Navy policy.
