About Us
Friends of the St. John Parish Animal Shelter was created by volunteers who are also St. John Residents. St John the Baptist Parish Animal Shelter offers services for companion animals belonging to the residents of our parish. Our group formed to assist them in providing extra medical care such as heartworm treatment, amputations, enucleations, emergency c-sections, discounts on public spay/neuter, etc. We also help with the cost of transports to their no-kill and rescue based transport partners as well as materials to better the animal's stay while in the shelter.
