About Giles County Humane Association:
We believe that pets are family members who fill our lives with joy and meaning. We are a 501c3 nonprofit rescue group that strives to make a difference in the lives of animals within our rural community in South Central Tennessee. Through our Spay/Neuter Program for Giles County residents we know that the result will be a huge reduction in the number of unwanted cats and dogs.
Rescues exist because of the overpopulation of cats and dogs. Approximately, 2.4 million healthy adoptable cats and dogs (about one every 13 seconds) are put down in U.S. shelters each year.
