Hope’s 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary houses the pets of domestic violence survivors while the survivors are either in shelters or looking for a better environment. Hope’s 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary provides a temporary, safe, loving, and free space for pets, letting survivors know that their animals are well cared for so they can focus on improving their given situation.
The work is done through partnerships between Hope’s 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary and domestic violence shelters, law enforcement, advocates, and volunteers that work with survivors.
