About Us
Last Hope Animal Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Formed in March of 2004, we are an all-volunteer animal rescue group comprised of foster homes in the greater Cedar Rapids, Iowa area and an Adoption Center located in SW Cedar Rapids. Most of our animals come from local kill shelters, as their time has run out due to any number of reasons including lack of space, not deemed adoptable, special needs, etc. Our purpose is to save as many homeless, abused, abandoned, hard to place, and neglected animals that we can and then place as many animals as possible into loving, forever homes where they will be cherished.Find Us

All adopters must fill out an application on our website at www.adopthope.org. References will be checked. We also complete a home visit and have a contract for all adoptions. Adoptions fees vary but start at $50 for cats and kittens, $250 for dogs, ...
