About Us

Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue was founded in 2009. Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue is a completely volunteer based rescue organization that is working to change the perception of pit bull type dogs. We work hard to find solid homes for the dogs in our program and require obedience training to strengthen the bond between dog and owner and inspire them to become ambassador canine citizens. We do believe this is what sets us apart from other organizations and keeping our return rate low. Our average annual intake is about 100 dogs per year with our 10th year on track to hopefully double that.
