About Us
Pet Adoption Services, Inc. (PAS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit 100% volunteer all-breed animal rescue organization founded in 1996 serving the Greater New Orleans and surrounding areas. We support our local animal shelter, regional shelters, and pet owners by assisting in re-homing displaced pets to help avoid euthanasia based on space issues or rehabilitatable medical or behavioral conditions. While awaiting adoption, pets live in the homes of our foster parents where they receive veterinary care, training, and exposure to multiple environments and scenarios, allowing us to give as much information as possible to potential adoptive families to assist them in deciding on a match.
