Since 1939, the Santa Fe Animal Shelter has been dedicated to its mission: support animals, save lives, spread compassion, for the animals in Santa Fe and all around New Mexico. The shelter is Northern New Mexico's largest open-admission, no-kill shelter, and focuses on accessible spay/neuter programs to combat animal overpopulation, creative adoption efforts, and over a dozen community programs and initiatives.
