About Us

SOLR is 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of homeless Labrador Retrievers and their offspring that are in need of safe and loving homes. We respond to requests for help from shelters, aid in the recovery of lost/abandoned Labradors and accept owner surrenders. We carefully place our Labradors in foster care. While in foster care, the dogs receive any medical treatment they need and are microchipped. This most often consists of spaying or neutering, updating vaccinations, testing for heartworm, tick and valley fever and treatment of medical issues deemed necessary and treatable.
