Texas CARES (Texas Companion Animal Resource and Education Society) celebrates three decades as a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit animal welfare charity. Our all-volunteer group provides for abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens (collectively referred to as kitties) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Please consider adopting or fostering one of our kitties, and/or investigate other ways you can volunteer to help. We also educate the public about the humane treatment of all animals, the responsibility of pet ownership, and have lots of great resources for your pet.
