About Us
The intent of Waco Pets Alive is to provide the resources, education and programs needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals at the Waco Animal Shelter. Waco Pets Alive is a high-volume pet adoption foster-based rescue program that exclusively rescues animals at the highest risk of being killed at the Waco Animal Shelter, in accordance with its Rescue Criteria Guidelines. Waco Pets Alive provides a variety of support and events to the Greater Waco community, local animal control officers, and animal welfare partners, which will contribute to a decline of shelter intake, increase shelter pet adoptions, improve quality of life for pets and the people who care for them.Find Us
